• The US designed and manufactured Tanksetter® is ideal for ensuring the stabilization of your propane tank in transit and in use. Perfect for tailgaters, campers and backyard partiers or just protecting your deck or garage floor from rust when your tank is stored.

  Keeping the tank secure and upright is the top safety tip for proper handling of propane tanks.  A tipped tank prevents the pressure relief safety valve from operating properly. The safety valve, built in to the cylinder valve, releases propane vapor if the pressure inside the tank exceeds safe limits, which could happen if the tank is left in direct sunlight or a closed vehicle.  A cylinder on its side will still vent if necessary, but it will release liquid propane, which is much more dangerous.

  The Tanksetter®, registered and patented, is a simple mechanical device that readily attaches to the bottom ring of most 5 - 40 lb propane tanks. Two eyebolts fit through the base holes of most tanks. The Tanksetter® has been thoroughly tested under many circumstances for stability, strength and rigidity. The light weight molded plastic form will give you good service for many years.
